Appeal a classification

If you believe a source was classified wrongly — yours or someone else’s — you can appeal.

How to appeal

Customers: appeal from the item in your triage list. Everyone else: use the appeal gate — one DNS TXT record proves you control the domain’s DNS, then the appeal form opens. We verify first because appeals are an obvious channel for probing our lists: until DNS control is proven, we discuss nothing about the domain or its status.

What helps

What the site is, who runs it, how long it has operated, and why it links the way it does. “It has a high authority score” is not evidence — authority metrics are exactly what farms manufacture.

Response time

We answer appeals within two business days, usually faster. While an appeal is open, the existing classification stands.

What we won’t do

We don’t confirm or deny the status of third parties outside a verified appeal, and we don’t negotiate with link networks. If your business model is selling links, the answer is no.
