Terms of Service

Last updated 20 October 2026 · applies to seosink.com and app.seosink.com

1. The service

SEO Sink provides negative-SEO detection and mitigation: a free domain checker, paid monitoring and edge-protection subscriptions, backlink intelligence, and done-with-you disavow file services (files built, reviewed and versioned by us; the final upload to Google is made by the customer from their own account — Google provides no vendor submission channel). Features vary by plan as described on the pricing page.

2. Accounts

You sign in with an email magic link. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of the domains you register. You must own, or be authorised to act for, every domain you submit to a paid plan.

3. Free checker

The free checker is provided as-is, rate-limited, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. A checker verdict is an automated assessment from third-party and first-party signals — it is not a guarantee that a domain is or is not under attack.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed annually in advance, or monthly via prepaid credit, through our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy, card — when available) or our cryptocurrency processor (NOWPayments). Prices are in USD.

Crypto payments and the credit ledger

Cryptocurrency payments (BTC/USDT/USDC) fund a prepaid credit balance on your account. Monthly plans debit the same calendar date each month from that balance; your dashboard always shows the next debit date and warns you when the balance won't cover it. If a debit can't be covered, the subscription is marked overdue and protection pauses at the end of the paid period — never silently. Unused credit never expires and carries no maintenance fee.

Activation. After a crypto payment confirms on-chain you receive a one-time activation link at the account email you supply; the plan binds when that link is clicked. This proves the address is yours and gives every payment a verified owner. Lost the activation page? The recovery page restores it from your NOWPayments invoice ID.

Refunds. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by design — we cannot reverse or "charge back" a crypto payment, and you cannot either. Except where required by law, fees (card or crypto) are non-refundable; genuine billing errors (duplicate debit, wrong-tier activation) are corrected as credit or refunded at our discretion. Card subscriptions can be cancelled any time, effective at the end of the paid period; monthly crypto plans stop at the next debit date — simply don't top up.

Commercial buyers needing invoices, POs or bank transfer: contact us — we invoice directly.

Founders pricing schedule

One public schedule — identical terms for every founder, 31 seats maximum (25 public founders plus 6 design-cohort conversions). No side letters, ever: a term that isn't in this schedule doesn't exist for anyone.

1. The lock. Your founders rate is the monthly (or annual) price in effect for your plan at the time your founders seat is granted. That rate does not increase for the lifetime of the plan you hold, for as long as SEO Sink offers that plan. The lock rides the plan, not the account: moving to a different plan reprices you at the then-current rate for the new plan, and moving back does not restore the old lock.

2. “Lifetime” defined. Lifetime means life of the product, not life of the company, and never life of the universe. If SEO Sink retires a plan you hold, we will give you at least 12 months' written notice and, at your option: (a) migration to the nearest successor plan at your locked rate for the remainder of the notice period and for 12 months after migration; or (b) a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused period. A retirement announced with 12 months' notice and honoured under (a) or (b) is not a breach of this lock.

3. Survivor clause (change of control). The lock survives acquisition. Any merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets is conditioned on the successor honouring founders rate locks on their existing terms. A lock that evaporated on exit would not be a lock, and we will not sell one.

4. Legacy is never a hostage (features and add-ons). Locked plans are never feature-frozen. New core features land on all plans, including founders plans, at no additional charge. Genuinely new, separately-priced add-ons may be offered from time to time; existing users are offered add-ons at a discount calculated from their adoption level and the current plan rates. Taking an add-on is optional and does not change your locked base rate.

5. Recurring, never prepaid-lifetime. Founders pricing is a recurring subscription at a locked rate — never a prepaid lifetime deal. We do not sell lifetime access for a one-time payment, at any price, to anyone. (A one-time “lifetime” payment is a liability on our books and a promise the industry has a long history of breaking. We don't make it.)

6. Cohort conversion. Members of the invited design cohort who complete the three-month cohort period — feedback, a testimonial we may publish (non-specific: no domain names unless you agree otherwise in writing), and reasonable social amplification — convert to founders pricing on the plan they then choose, with founders seat numbers 1–6 already counted (including the operator's own seat).

7. Seat mechanics. The founders tier is capped at 25 public seats. The tier opens with 6 of 25 seats already claimed by the design cohort. Tier closure is announced as an event (“Founders tier: closed”); we do not publish live seat counters. Dropout seats may be re-offered at our discretion. Price steps after founders happen on announced dates, not at secret fill counts.

8. What the lock is not. The lock is not transferable, not sellable, and does not survive a self-serve eject followed by re-signup (leaving ends the lock; the eject doctrine — keep your disavow file and triage history — is unchanged). Tier seat maximums apply as published on the pricing page at grant time.

5. Google Search Console integration

If you connect GSC, you grant us read-only access to your Search Console data. You can revoke it at any time from your Google account. Revoking access disables features that depend on it; it does not refund the current billing period.

6. Acceptable use

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. In integrity cases (clause 3), termination is immediate and permanent.

7. Disclaimers

SEO Sink reduces exposure to negative-SEO attacks; no service can guarantee complete immunity, specific rankings, or that Google will honour a disavow file. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost rankings, traffic, or revenue.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Antigua and Barbuda, with exclusive jurisdiction in its courts.
