Scraping, fake reviews and forum smears are the oldest attack classes and remain the most manual to fight: they spread across the open web where no single instrument reads them. They are fought with evidence and takedowns, not edge rules — and we say so rather than pretend a dashboard sees them.
What we do for this class: the attack-graph record preserves the evidence trail (who, when, from where), and the takedown workflow is part of the appeal/eject machinery. Anything claiming to automate smear defence end-to-end is selling the map for the territory.
Method & limits
Scope: this ledger is the retail edge (seosink.com's own protection surface) plus every free check run. Estate-wide attack telemetry merges into these reports in a later release — the numbers here are exact for what they measure, and they are a floor, not a ceiling.
Detail that would teach the attacking farm what we can see — fingerprints, source IPs, target properties — is aggregated or held back 30 days. Counts are always exact.
